Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 Sit On Top Recreational Kayak

Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 is a sit-on-top recreational kayak for outdoor paddling. It has an open deck, a comfortable seat, useful storage areas, and several gear features. In addition, its layout gives one paddler easy access to the deck and storage areas.

Sit On Top Kayak

The Tarpon 120 has an open sit-on-top design. This layout gives the paddler direct access to the seat, deck, and gear areas.

In addition, the open design makes it easy to reach stored items while on the water. The product image also shows the open deck and single-seat layout.

Phase 3 AirPro Seat

The kayak comes with a Phase 3 AirPro seat. The seat creates a clear and comfortable position for one paddler.

Moreover, the raised seat back gives support while paddling. Users can adjust the seating setup before entering the water.

Adjustable Foot Support

The Keepers XL Foot Brace System gives the paddler useful foot support. Users can adjust the foot braces to find a suitable position.

As a result, the paddler can create a more natural seating position. Proper adjustment can also improve comfort during longer trips.

Rear Gear Storage

The Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 has a rear tankwell for carrying suitable gear. Adjustable bungee cords help hold items in this area.

In addition, deck bungee rigging gives users another place for gear. Always secure loose items before entering the water.

Storage Hatches

The kayak has Orbix bow and midship hatches. These areas give users more space for suitable paddling gear.

Moreover, the kayak includes gear storage pockets. The source does not provide an exact storage volume, so no storage capacity is listed.

SlideTrax Accessory System

The SlideTrax system gives users mounting areas for compatible kayak accessories. Therefore, paddlers can add suitable gear for different activities.

For example, compatible accessory mounts can use the available track system. Always check accessory fit before installation.

Self Draining Design

The kayak has scupper holes that allow water to drain from suitable deck areas. This feature supports the open sit-on-top design.

Therefore, users should keep these openings clear during use. Follow the maker’s instructions when using compatible scupper plugs.

Carry Handles

The kayak includes comfort carry handles and side carry handles. These handles provide clear grip points when moving the kayak on land.

In addition, the kayak has a paddle holder. This gives the paddler a place to hold a compatible paddle when needed.

Drink Storage

The Tarpon 120 includes a cupholder and a MagnaTec magnetic water bottle holder. These features provide convenient places for compatible drinks.

Therefore, paddlers can keep a suitable drink within easy reach. Make sure bottles and other loose items stay secure while paddling.
